The nursery is set in spacious grounds and surrounded by open countryside, in a warm, caring and safe environment. We have worked closely with early years, other nurseries and nursery managers to provide resources which meet the needs of each age group and development areas.
We aim to work in close partnership with parents to provide consistent and individual care, this is achieved through having a highly motivated staff team and a caring and safe environment. Our staff aim, wherever possible, to meet your needs. Please feel free to meet our staff team and view through their professional files. Qualified and experienced staff are on duty throughout the day and work closely with our management team.
The nursery has a fun and bright mini bus and we have lots of enjoyment planning and going on outings. The children have enjoyed trips to Cannon Hall, Garden centres and local schools.
We always work towards OFSTED guidance and regulations and follow correct staff and child ratios. To help ensure consistency a member of staff will be allocated to your child, our Key person system is important in making sure all your child’s needs are met.
We offer a balanced, healthy and nutritious diet, the menus are prepared four weeks in advance and will be on display in the nursery. (copies are available on request). We also cater for any special requirements, e.g. vegetarian.
Although we have specific rooms for age groups we only move children when they are ready. This is dependant on each child’s individual needs and stage of development, we believe if change is managed as part of a natural progression it will be less unsettling. A move from one room to another is supported by short settler sessions and if needed your child’s Key person.
Parental involvement is encouraged. Parents and Grandparents are very welcome to visit at anytime. When a child starts at the nursery parents may stay with their child, if they feel it will help. We can also offer short settler sessions, please speak to a member of staff so we can make the process right for you and your child/children.
